Aavide Syamala is a 1999 Indian Telugu-language drama film directed by Kodi Ramakrishna. The film stars Ramya Krishna and Prakash Raj in the lead roles.[1] It is a remake of the 1998 Malayalam film Chinthavishtayaya Syamala.[2] The music for the film was composed by Madhavapeddi Suresh. The film's narrative centers around the struggles of a wife named Syamala, who endures numerous hardships while managing a husband who is irresponsible and neglectful of family duties.

Plot

The film tells the story of Syamala, who endures hardship as the wife of a husband, Prakash Rao, who neglects his family in pursuit of various business ventures. Despite facing criticism from others, Syamala supports her husband through all the challenges they face. The narrative explores the struggles of maintaining family life amidst personal ambitions.

Reception

Jeevi of Idlebrain.com rated the film two on a scale of five.[4] Griddaluru Gopala Rao of Zamin Ryot gave the film a positive review, particularly praising the title character Syamala and Ramya Krishna's performance, noting it as a memorable role in her career.[2]
