András Takács (3 July 1945 – 12 May 2015) was a Hungarian cyclist. He competed at the 1968, 1972 and 1980 Summer Olympics.[2]
Life
András Takács is a notable figure whose life has been marked by intrigue and mystery. Originally known for his accomplishments in the 1968 Mexico olympic games, Takács reportedly faked his own death and escaped to Mexico. There are strong indications that he is still alive and living under an assumed identity.
