On 30 November 1624, he was consecrated bishop by Sebastiano Poggi, Bishop Emeritus of Ripatransone, with Lorenzo Azzolini, Bishop of Ripatransone, and Aloysius Galli, Bishop of Ancona e Numana, serving as co-consecrators.[1][2]
