Avalan Rural District (Persian: دهستان عوالان)[3] is in Muchesh District of Kamyaran County, Kurdistan province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Noshur-e Sofla.[5]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 3,628 in 918 households.[6] There were 3,224 inhabitants in 905 households at the following census of 2011.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 2,401 in 753 households. The most populous of its 17 villages was Noshur-e Sofla, with 502 people.[2]
