The Central District of Sarbisheh County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان سربیشه) is in South Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Sarbisheh.[3]

History

After the 2011 National Census, Ghainab Rural District was created in the district, and Doreh Rural District was separated from it in the establishment of Doreh District.[4]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 census, the district's population was 25,788 in 6,602 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 27,407 people in 7,339 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 17,755 inhabitants in 5,039 households.[2]
