History
The team was announced on November 7, 2023 during that day's Dothan City Commission with the placeholder name Dothan FC and its inaugural season to be part of the 2024 USL League Two season.[1]
In December 2023 a name-the-team contest was held[2] and the official club name was announced on January 23, 2024 during a public ceremony.[3]
