Fazelabad (Persian: فاضل آباد)[a] is a city in Kamalan District of Aliabad County, Golestan province, Iran, serving as the administrative center for Estarabad Rural District.[4]
Demographics
Language
The people of Fazelabad speak a dialect of Mazanderani language called Katoli.[5]
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 13,060 in 3,154 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 14,548 people in 4,084 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 19,461 people in 5,869 households.[2]
