Unincorporated community in Washington, US

Glendale is an unincorporated community in Island County, in the U.S. state of Washington.[1] It is located on the southeast coast of Whidbey Island, and should not be confused with the neighborhood in Seattle.

History

Glendale was founded around 1907, and was descriptively named.[2] A post office called Glendale was established in 1905, and remained in operation until 1943.[3]
