Kenneth “The Legend” Simpson is a Native of Shreveport, Louisiana and 1982 NBA Draft pick of The Kansas City Kings The 6ft 4 inches tall, was a versatile Swingman who started a total of 135 games in his career without missing a game.
The Legend was a Four Time All-SWAC Team, ALL-SWAC TOURNAMENT TEAM and KODAK ALL -AMERICAN selection. Simpson led the 1979-1980 Tigers to a SWAC TOURNAMENT RUNNER-UP and first NCAA NIT NATIONAL INVITATION TOURNAMENT Appearance.
Simpson went to Europe to join KBBK in Sweden,LARIOS in Italy, and FC BARCELONA where he led the team to 4 Spanish ACB and FIBA Copa De Europe Championships.
