Okee, Wisconsin

43°21′28″N 89°34′48″W / 43.35778°N 89.58000°W / 43.35778; -89.58000Okee is an unincorporated community located in the town of Lodi, in Columbia County, Wisconsin, United States.[1][2]
Okee is the eastern terminus for the Merrimac Ferry, on the Wisconsin River.[3]
History
A post office called Okee was established in 1858, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1953.[4] The name Okee is of Native American origin, reportedly meaning "evil spirits".[5]
