Wynnum State High School is a public high school in Wynnum, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.[3]

As at August 2024, the principal is Sandra Quinn, and the deputy principals are Danielle Goshnick, Marina Williams, Celia Connell, and Lisa Hawkin.[4]

History

Construction began in 1941, and the school first opened for students on 2 March 1942.[1][2][5]

In 2010, there was 709 enrolled students and 60 teachers.[6]

Construction also recently finished on a new block of four classrooms, dubbed the Russell Building or R Block (November, 2018). Later, it underwent construction to include 3 other classrooms in May, 2023.[citation needed]
