Dalam sistem penilaian Angkatan Laut Kerajaan Britania terkadang untuk mengkategorikan kapal perang pada abad ke-18, peringkat empat adalah sebuah kapal tiang dengan 46 hingga 60 senjata terpasang. Mereka dihapus dari kapal tiang selama Revolusi Prancis dan Perang Napoleon, karena kegunaan mereka menurun; meskipun mereka masih dalam pelayanan, terutama dalam stasiun yang jauh seperti Hindia.
