Sphelodon is een insectengeslacht dat behoort tot de orde vliesvleugeligen (Hymenoptera) en de familie van de gewone sluipwespen (Ichneumonidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van het geslacht werd voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd door Henry Keith Townes, Jr. in 1966.
