Phidippus purpuratus[3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10] är en spindelart som beskrevs av Eugen von Keyserling 1884 [1885. Phidippus purpuratus ingår i släktet Phidippus och familjen hoppspindlar.[11][12] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[11]
