Pleuranthodium es un género de plantas con flores perteneciente a la familia Zingiberaceae. Comprende 23 especies descritas y aceptadas.^[1]​

El género fue descrito por (K.Schum.) R.M.Sm. y publicado en Edinburgh Journal of Botany 48(1): 63. 1991.^[2]​
