El Torneo de la División I de Baloncesto Masculino de la NCAA de 2001 se celebró para determinar el Campeón de la División I de la NCAA. Fueron 64 los equipos que disputaron la fase final, jugándose la Final Four en el H.H.H. Metrodome de Minneapolis, Minnesota.[1]
Los ganadores fueron el equipo de la Universidad de Duke, que lograban su tercer campeonato tras los conseguidos en 1991 y 1992, derrotando en la final a la Universidad de Arizona, que alcanzaba su segunda final. Shane Battier, de los Blue Devils, fue considerado Mejor Jugador del Torneo.
